FAQ

Questions we hear often.

How long does it take to get our school up and running?

Most schools are live within 2–4 weeks. We migrate your existing Excel files and legacy system exports, map them to SPARK, run a parallel test for one cutoff, then hand the keys over. Larger networks take 6–8 weeks to fully onboard.

Does SPARK work offline? Our internet isn't always reliable.

Yes. The teacher gradebook and attendance apps work fully offline and sync when you're back online. Registrars can print report cards and receipts from a local cached copy during outages.

Are you DepEd accredited?

SPARK generates all DepEd-required forms (SF1–SF10, Form 137, Form 138, EBEIS/LIS exports) in the current official formats. We track DepEd memoranda and push updates to every school automatically — you never need to manually update templates.

What happens to our data if we stop using SPARK?

It's your data. We provide one-click export of all records in CSV, PDF, and Excel formats — at any time, for any reason, at no cost. We also keep your data for 90 days after you leave, in case you need to come back.

Can parents really use this? Some of our parents aren't tech-savvy.

The parent portal is designed for Tatay and Nanay, not engineers. It works on any phone, in Filipino or English, and critical info (grades, payments, announcements) is also sent via SMS so no parent gets left behind.

How is our data kept secure?

SPARK is hosted on enterprise cloud infrastructure with data residency in the Philippines. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We are compliant with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).

How much does SPARK cost?

SPARK is priced per active learner, billed annually — we send a tailored quote based on your school size, module mix, and billing preference. Founding schools get 50% off for the first 3 school years. Starter fits single-campus schools under 300 learners; Standard fits 300–1,500; Network covers multi-campus operators. See plans →

Do we have to migrate everything in one go?

No. We commonly start with one module (e.g. enrollment for the upcoming school year) and add the others as your team gets comfortable. Most schools have the core modules live by the end of the first quarter and the specialty ones (library, clinic, canteen, fixed assets) phased in over the school year.
